I was recently out on a coffee networking date with a beautiful soul. On this date, we shared our work, journeys and lives. While we had gotten together because she had expressed interest in my work, it was a wonderful conversation filled with sharing, caring and vulnerability. At the end of the conversation, while, I believe she had a clear picture that I could help her, she indicated that there was “too much magic and miracles.”
This took me back to a time in my life when spiritual people would talk to me about “the work” and I thought it was too “woo-woo.” I remember my own resistance, and how tightly I was holding onto the logical. While I didn’t realize it at the time, I now know that I believed the logical was “right” and the spiritual was “wrong”. You see, the logical was keeping me safe. It was protecting me, and unfortunately, it was also keeping me in the status quo.
This brought up a question for me, a question I wished someone had asked me years ago.
If something was “magical”, “spiritual”, “woo-woo” or even “mystical”, but had the the ability to change everything, and I do mean everything, would you let it hold you back from the life you truly desire, a life full of regular miracles? Would you let the logical or the fear of what others think of you hold you back from the life that’s calling you? And, if so, why do you think that is?
I’d love to know! Comment below. And, if you’re ready to break through the things holding you back from the life you know you’re meant to live, you can find details (and apply) for my coaching here.
Woo-woo, Woo-hoo!
